2.1. Secretary’s Report: See distributed minutes of EB meeting of 25 March 2010. Review and approve.
2.2. Treasurer’s Report: See Treasurer’s summary of financial status for checking account as of 22 April. Review and approve.
3. Old Business:
3.1 ED Ewald reports on receiving names of three interested Army LTCs for the vacant NGAM Vice Presidency. These candidates are: LTC Ken Michalak, 46 MP Cmd NGAM rep, LTC Jeff Terrill, XO of 63rd Bde and LTC Tom Vern, Cdr of 507th EN Bn. Major Brian Davis, 127th WG Plans has also expressed interest as a VP candidate.
Executive Board members reminded that CCMSgt Mike Dalton will be presented to the NGAM members assembled for the 54th annual business meeting as the NGAM President for 2011. Solicitations for additional VP candidates are still open.
3.2. ED Ewald reports on the new NGAM Website (it went on-line Friday/16) and plans to present it during 2010 NGAM Conf business meeting as part of the 5 Year Plan to improve service to membership and gain additional Corporate Partners in Patriotism.
3.3 ED Ewald reports on the status of NGAM 2010 Conference registrations and the Army and Air Chiefs of Staff tour of the Resort property on 12 April in anticipation of the combined NGAM and Air/Army Leadership Conferences in 2011. Golf Outing volunteers are still needed. ED Ewald requests assistance with solicitation of a volunteer photographer for the 54th NGAM Conference. Room and board and mileage will be paid.
3.4. ED Ewald reports on status of NGAM 2010 Conf ad book.
4. New Business:
4.1. ED Ewald reports on TAG’s ODT for 49 young Air and Army officers (O-3 and below) to Washington D.C. on 5 May which includes a reception and tour of the NGAUS Hqs, Hall of States. The ODP focuses on the legislative process, the NGB and meeting elected Michigan officials.
4.2. ED Ewald presents the 54th NGAM Conf agenda for discussion/approval. He asks EB for any ideas which they may want to include as part of the NGAM business meeting agenda. Discussion about proposed EB meeting following the business meeting on Saturday 15 May; this could include an audio conference option. Significant changes to the 2011 NGAM conference agenda are anticipated due to the combining of Air/Army Leadership Conference.
