Meeting Called to Order at 1603 hrs by Executive Director Ewald, past President Halt attending and presiding via audio conference. Completed the Pledge of Allegiance to Flag
1. Roll Call:
1.1. Officers: Absent: President Weigel and Vice President Cooper dialed into the on- going meeting at 1610 hrs.
1.2. EB members absent: MAJ Gust, 272 RSG rep; Maj Burris/SMSgt Scott, 110th AW reps; CSM Husband, Army Enlisted rep; CW4 Stone, Army Aviation rep; MAJ Brown, Joint Staff rep.
1.3. Introduction of guests & new EB Members: None
2. Reports:
2.1. Secretary’s Report: Minutes of EB meeting for 21 January 2010 were distributed and reviewed. Motion made by Tirmmer with second by Wimberly to approve minutes as written. Voice vote carried.
2.2. Treasurer’s Report: Copies of financial status as of 31 January and check account as of 25 February were distributed and reviewed. ED Ewald informed the EB that there were $18+K in NGAUS dues collected which would be sent to NGAUS NLT 26 March. There are also $1+ K in EANGUS dues collected which would be sent to EANGUS NLT 7 April. Motion made by Cooper with second by trimmer to approve as written. Voice vote carried.
3. Old Business:
3.1 ED Ewald reminded the EB of NGAM’s need for Executive Board Secretary and candidates for Vice President continues.
3.2. ED Ewald reported on the NG Executive Directors’ Association (NGEDA) Conference which he attended during the last week of January (27 thru 30) 2010 in Austin, TX which is also the site of the 2010 NGAUS Conference.
3.3 ED Ewald reported on his attendance to the Joint NCO Conference on 6 February at the Amway Hotel, Grand Rapids. CCMSgt Dalton thanked the EB for the NGAM financial support of the Conference for $500.
3.4 ED Ewald reported on the distribution of a NGAM briefing (complete with speaker notes) to the senior Air and Army leadership via email on 18 Feb, a copy was also sent to the EB members. This was done in lieu of sending an edition of NGAM News.
3.5 ED Ewald reported on his planned trip (2-3 March) to Wash. D.C. with TAG to visit and speak with elected Michigan officials regarding legislative actions in support of MING construction and equipment issues. Ewald suggested that payment of expenses could be provided by using the 2010 NGAM budgeted lines for Legislation, Misc and EB expenses, which amounted to $550. Motion by Trimmer and seconded by Nadrasik to use these budgeted line items to pay for ED Ewald’s trip expenses. Voice vote carried.
3.6 ED Ewald reported on his briefing to Co L (Grayling) of the Army recruits. Suggestion was made tht Ewald consider visiting the Pre-deployment assemblies in order to sell SSLI insurance.
4. New Business:
4.1. ED Ewald reported on the status of the NGAM 2010 memberships. He distributed a summary of the Air and Army dues payment profiles.
4.2. ED Ewald reported that he has scheduled NGAM briefings to Co I (Ft Custer) of the Army Recruit Sustainment Program on 20 March. He invited invitation to the 110th and 127th Student Flight assemblies.
4.3 ED Ewald reported on the NGAM Website and requested permission to populate the Website homepage with Corporate Partners in Patriotism URLs. Motion by Marshall with second by Botkin to approve. Voice vote carried.
4.4 ED Ewald reported that there will be a tour of the Marriott Eagle Crest resort site by the Army and Air Chiefs of Staff on 12 April in anticipation of the 2011 combined NGAM and Air/Army Leadership Conferences.

6. Next NGAM Executive Board Meeting: The meeting adjourned at 1700 hrs. The next EB meeting will be on 22 April 2010 @ 1600 hrs in room 206 of the RFSC, Lansing.
