The National Guard Association of Michigan (NGAM) exists to advance the interests of the Michigan National Guard. Formed in 1956, NGAM has a 60-year tradition of providing services to its members and support for their families.  In 1962, we were incorporated as a 501(c)19 non-profit veterans organization.

The National Guard Association of Michigan (NGAM) is pleased to announce the Veteran Support Grant. The use of this grant is intended to assist veterans in need. Veterans; families and organizations that support veterans of Michigan (directly or indirectly); current members of NGAM; and other currently serving military members of Michigan may apply.

NGAM State Conference – Save the Date – 16-18 June 2016
The 60th Annual National Guard Association of Michigan State Conference will take place in Dearborn, Michigan from 16-18 June at the Edward Village Michigan (formerly The Royal Dearborn Hotel & Convention Center.  Registration opening soon!

Future NGAM Conference Dates:

  • Dates to be determined – 2017 – Central Michigan
  • Dates to be determined – 2018 – Mackinac Island

NGAUS – 138th General Conference

The National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) will return to Maryland for the fourth time.  National Guard officers from around the country gathered in the Charm City in 1939, 1944 and 2008.  The 2016 conference will be held in the beautiful and accessible Downtown Inner Harbor.  Come by plane, train, car or boat and celebrate Defenders Day.  The conference will take place 9-12 September, 2016

The 45th General Conference of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana from 21-24 August, 2016.
