This year’s conference kicks off with a Golf Outing on Friday, May 12 at The Jewel on Mackinac Island and continues through the weekend at the Grand Hotel. To ensure availability of a hotel room at the beautiful Grand Hotel, you must reserve your room no later than Friday, April 7.
In addition to remarks from The Adjutant General and Michigan’s Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS), we have secured Mr. Silouan Green. He is a service-disabled Marine pilot and will provide a keynote presentation entitled, “Responding to PTSD and the Transition Home.”
Green is currently working with the 122nd Fighter Wing – Indiana Air National Guard, has been involved with numerous yellow ribbon events around the state of Indiana, and has shared his program (Silouan’s Ladder UPP) with many other military and law enforcement agencies throughout the country.
We anticipate a highly-energized and education-packed discussion at this conference and hope you’re able to join us!
With this being Mother’s Day weekend, we encourage you to bring your family – enjoy the Island and celebrate Mom in “Grand” style!
UPDATE: Deadline to secure rooms at the Grand Hotel has passed. Rooms are now only available on a first-come, first-serve basis and only based on hotel availability.
Be sure to register for the pre-conference golf outing at The Jewel on Mackinac Island. This event is open to the public. The shotgun start is 1300 hours on Friday, May 12.
